The French nuclear operator EDF said earlier this week that it and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) had signed a memorandum of cooperation to investigate the possibility of maximizing local content in the Jaitapur Nuclear Power Plant project.

On the fringes of the current COP28 World Climate Action Summit, the Modi-Macron meeting was held. According to a statement from India's Ministry of External Affairs, the two leaders discussed a variety of topics, such as sports, energy, military, climate action, and civil nuclear cooperation.
