Jewar Airport's closest railway station: The government is working nonstop to enhance Jewar Airport's connection, with plans to launch in October 2024. There has been reports of Noida International Airport (NIA) being linked to the Indian Railways network after its clearance to be connected to the Delhi-Meerut Rapid Rail Corridor (RRTC). Once the airport is linked to the rail system, you may take a direct train to either Mumbai or Kolkata from here.

Actually, the state government proposed linking NIA with Bulandshahr's Chola railway station. On the Eastern Freight Corridor between Kolkata and Amritsar lies this railway station. However, the government had plans to link the airport to Haryana's Palwal station, which is located on the Delhi-Mumbai line. The Railway Ministry has approved the plan to construct a 47 km railway connection to link the airport to the railway line. The process of preparing the DPR has also begun for this.


The construction of the railway line will facilitate import-export.


A 20-kilometer railway line between Noida International Airport and Chola Railway Station will be built as part of the new 47-kilometer railway route. From the airport to Palwal, the last 27 km of railroad track will be constructed. The construction of this railroad will also facilitate import-export. The building of the railway line is crucial for the airport's connection, according to the request submitted by the Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh to the Railway Ministry.

Since this airport is the second airport in the Delhi-NCR, a connection to the train line is required. This will occur in the crucial region that separates Haryana and Western Uttar Pradesh. North Central Railway is to build a new station to link the international airport at Jewar to the Delhi-Mumbai railway route, as well as a 28-kilometer rail connection at Palwal. This line will go 33 kilometers from Jewar to the Khurja railway station on the Delhi-Howrah railway line. In addition, a second rail line, about 20 km, would be built to link Chola and the projected Jewar station on the Delhi-Howrah Railway Corridor.
