Pay Increases at Infosys: One of the biggest IT firms in India, Infosys, has raised employee salaries. Salary pay slips have reportedly been provided to the staff, according to ET. This is an increase in pay as of December 15. Normally, pay raises take effect on April 1st; however, the raise that the workers got will take effect in November 2023. The corporation has raised staff salaries by less than 10 percent on average. Entry level workers have not been included in this yearly pay rise scheme, according to the article.


What was the performance of the company?


During the same time last year, the company's earnings climbed by 3.17 percent to ₹6,212 crore from ₹6,012 crore. The Bengaluru-based business has reduced its annual sales growth projection to an upper range of 1.5% to 2.5%. The revenue drop occurs after it was cut from 4–7% in the prior quarter to 1-3.5 percent in the July–September quarter of the fiscal year 2023–2024.


Additionally, the business announced a dividend.


Compared to ₹38,994 crore during the same time previous year, revenue increased by 7% to ₹36,538 crore in the September quarter. Additionally, Infosys announced a dividend of ₹18 for each equity share, with an October 25 record date. The September quarter's operating margin increased by 40 basis points from the previous quarter to 21.2%. The operational margin has been maintained by Infosys between 20 and 22 percent, according the official statement.
