IMD predicts that throughout the next five days, from December 19 to 21, there will likely be thick to extremely dense fog in several regions of Punjab and that dense fog would predominate in the morning across Haryana, Assam, and Meghalaya.

The southern states will continue to get rain today, December 20, as well. But there's a noticeable decrease in its intensity. A thick fog notice has been issued in other plain locations apart from this. Concurrently, several states are reporting a significant decrease in temperature. Delhi's Weather

Even in Delhi, the nation's capital, the temperature has begun to drop quickly. Here, in the morning, there is a lot of fog and wind. But during the day, the sky is easily seen. Here, the lowest recorded temperature today is 7 degrees Celsius, the highest recorded temperature is 23 degrees Celsius, and fog is visible in the morning.

Uttar Pradesh climate

The temperature in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, may drop as low as 9 degrees Celsius and rise as high as 23 degrees. In the morning, there will likely be fog or mist, but later on, the sky will mostly clear. But throughout the next three to four days, there will be a little rise in temperature. Aside from this, several areas in eastern Uttar Pradesh may experience severe to very dense fog.

Rainfall in Kerala and Tamil Nadu is expected to be light to moderate. In some locations of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, light rain is possible.
