ICICI Bank New Information: RuPay Credit Card users now have the option to make UPI payments via ICICI Bank. The procedure to use this facility is as follows:

On Friday, ICICI Bank opened a new facility for its clients. Customers of this private bank may now use their Rupay credit card to make UPI payments. The bank has combined UPI payment with the RuPay Credit Card for this.

Convenience of using these methods for payment

In a statement, ICICI Bank stated that its clients may now use UPI to pay with their Rupay credit card when they buy, pay bills of any type, or make offline payments at places like POS machines. This feature allows payments from consumers to merchants. Users will also profit from reward points in addition to this.

These credit cards may be linked.

In order to facilitate UPI transactions on its RuPay credit card, ICICI Bank has partnered with National Payment Corporation of India. Presently, ICICI Bank offers its clients three different kinds of RuPay credit cards: the ICICI Bank Rubix RuPay Credit Card, the ICICI Bank HPCL Super Saver RuPay Credit Card, and the ICICI Bank Coral RuPay Credit Card. Customers of ICICI Bank are able to connect these credit cards to UPI.

This is how UPI payments will need to be made.

Customers of ICICI Bank may use UPI to make payments by using their iMobile Pay app to scan the merchant's QR code. In addition to iMobile Pay, users may use any other UPI payment app to make payments with their RuPay credit card. They must first connect their individual credit cards to UPI in order to do this.

How to connect your UPI to your ICICI Bank Rupay Credit Card

Go to the iMobile app's UPI Payments option.

Select Manage, then click My Profile.

Choose the Generate New UPI ID option.

Choose the Rupay Credit Card option for payment.

Make your selection for the UPI ID you want to connect.

After selecting Proceed, review the transaction details.

As soon as you click Confirm, the card will be connected.
