1) With a valid CGHS card, cashless treatment at AIIMS is available to CGHS pensioners and other recipients who qualify for it, such as past governors, MPs, judges of the Supreme Court of India, judges of High Courts, freedom fighters, etc. are qualified.

2) The CGHS card indicates the ward's eligibility as well as its validity.

3) AIIMS will set up a dedicated desk for CGHS recipients. At the CGHS counter, the qualified CGHS recipient may present their CGHS card for validation.

4) CGHS cardholders who qualify may validate their own cards. A copy of both the patient's and the family member's CGHS cards must be supplied in the event that a dependent family member is receiving treatment. CGHS will check the card details against the CGHS database after consulting with NIC.

5) In the last week of AIIMS month, a physical bill and a copy of the CGHS card must be sent in to the office of the Additional Director, CGHS of the relevant city.

6) AIIMS will open a separate bank account for CGHS recipients so they may pay their expenses. Bills must be paid in full and put into the bank account that AIIMS set up for CGHS.

7) The advantage of cashless treatment is available to other qualified individuals in addition to CGHS retirees.
