Maruti Suzuki has quietly released the Jimny Thunder edition in the Indian market, along with limited versions of the Zeta and Alpha models. Ex-showroom prices for the Jimny Thunder Edition range from ₹10.74 lakh to ₹14.05 lakh.

Front skid plate, side door cladding, door visor, door sill protectors, floor mats, grip covers in rustic tan, and external graphics are among the standard extras that come with the Thunder Edition. The variation also has garnish on the hood, side fenders, ORVMs, and front bumper.

Maruti Suzuki has kept the Jimny's fundamental characteristics, which include a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder, normally aspirated petrol engine from the K series. This engine can produce a maximum of 134 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm and 103 horsepower of power at 6,000 rpm. There is a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission available for the car. The automatic gearbox version produces a mileage of 16.39 km/l, while the manual variation claims a fuel efficiency of 16.94 km/l. Four-wheel drive is standard on the Jimny, and automatic transmissions are available for the Zeta and Alpha models.

Numerous safety features are included in the Jimny, including as six airbags, a rearview camera, an engine immobilizer, an ABS with EBD, a brake limited slip differential, an electronic stability program, hill hold and descent control, and an electronic stability program.

Fascinatingly, the top-of-the-line Alpha version has high-end amenities like cruise control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic temperature control, push start/stop buttons, and a sophisticated touchscreen infotainment system. Furthermore, it has fog lights, electrically folding ORVMs, body-colored door handles, alloy wheels, dark green glass windows, automated LED headlamps, and headlight washers.

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny has dimensions of 3,985 mm in length, 1,645 mm in width, 1,720 mm in height, and 2,590 mm in wheelbase. This model stands itself for having an expanded wheelbase, which adds to the cabin's capacity when compared to its three-door predecessor.
