School Closed: The Delhi government has stated that schools would be closed from November 9 to November 18 due to an ongoing decrease in the Air Quality Index (AQI) and a rising outbreak of air pollution in the nation's capital.
The Delhi administration has declared a winter break starting in November due to pollution. According to a government directive, all schools will be closed from November 9 to November 18 for winter holiday. Also, there won't be any online instruction during this time. Prior to this, schools were given notice of vacations until November 10.
Gopal Rai, the environment minister for Delhi, said on Wednesday that although we in Delhi are diligently adhering to all GRAP regulations, the governments of the surrounding states are doing nothing but standing by. I believe that joint meetings will be held after the Supreme Court's directives, and each state's implementation will get careful consideration.

He said that during Diwali, firecrackers were outlawed in Delhi.
