Who is Bigg Boss winner Elvish Yadav, who has been booked to use snake venom?

Elvish Yadav and five other people were charged with supplying snake venom for amusement at a Delhi-NCR party.

Six persons, including YouTuber Elvish Yadav, were detained by the Noida Police on Thursday for allegedly using snake venom during rave events. The Indian Penal Code's (IPC) criminal conspiracy and the Wildlife (Protection) Act were the grounds for filing the FIR. Although five of the people listed in the FIR have been taken into custody, Yadav has refuted the allegations and promised to work fully with the UP police on the case.

What allegations are made against Elvish Yadav, and who is he?

Elvish Yadav is a vocalist from Gurugram and an Indian YouTuber. He became well-known after becoming victorious from Salman Khan's "Big Boss OTT 2" reality series this year.

In 2016, Elvish launched the "The Social Factory" YouTube channel, where his mostly flash fiction and conceptual short film work was posted. Later on, he changed the name to Elvish Yadav. He launched a second YouTube channel in 2019 called "Elvish Yadav vlogs," where he posted daily vlogs and shared movie critiques with his loved ones. He launched "Elvish Yadav Gaming," a second gaming YouTube channel, later in 2023.

In addition to being a social media celebrity, Yadav is the owner of two clothing firms, Systumm Clothing and Elgro Women, as well as an NGO, Elvish Yadav Foundation, which helps feed the poor and educate impoverished children.

Based on a complaint submitted by an animal welfare activist, Yadav and five other people, known as Rahul, Titunath, Jayakaran, Narayan, and Ravinath, were arrested on Thursday for supplying snake venom for recreational reasons during a party in Delhi-NCR. People For Animals submitted a complaint alleging that Elvish Yadav was approached by Maneka Gandhi's NGO, which requested that he arrange a rave party and get cobra venom. "Elvish provided us with Rahul's name, who we got in touch with. He promised to arrange the poisoning anywhere we desired. Then, carrying the Venom, he arrived in Sector 51 Banquet Hall. The organizers were subsequently detained by the Noida police, who had arrived at the location with the DFO, according to the complaint.

Elvish Yadav responded to the FIR by calling the accusations "absolutely baseless and fake." "I will take the responsibility if even 1% of my involvement in this is proved," he declared in a statement. Additionally, the media need to refrain from disparaging me until my role is looked into.
