New Delhi: Soon, respite will be provided to the residents of Delhi, who are now suffering from noxious winds and rising pollution. The Meteorological Department has reported some alleviation, despite the fact that the AQI continues to worsen daily. Actually, the Meteorological Department reports that the wind speed would rise as a result of the Western Disturbance in Delhi-NCR, potentially lowering the pollution level. People who are exposed to toxic air might feel better since there are less contaminants in the air. This western disturbance will cause snow to begin falling in the mountainous regions, which will lower the temperature in the plains as well.

According to the Meteorological Department, there are reports of rain in several parts of the nation's capital after Diwali. IMD reports that rain is possible in various areas of Delhi on November 9. In UP-Bihar, the weather is still dry. In the morning, certain areas of Uttar Pradesh are also reporting light fog. The Meteorological Department predicts that up to November 10, the weather in Uttar Pradesh will probably be dry.

Over the next four days, there won't be any notable changes in the temperature. In majority of Bihar, there is also dry weather present. In the northwest and south-west regions of the state, there could be light fog, according to the Meteorological Department. In some areas, the cloud cover may persist. Speaking about the weather, the Skymet Weather report states that South Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu might have moderate to heavy rain today.

Lakshadweep and Andhra Pradesh may have light to moderate rain combined with one or two areas of heavy rain. Parts of South Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Goa, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands may get light to moderate rain. In Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh, and Jammu and Kashmir, there may be light rain. For the next three days, Delhi and the National Capital Region's air quality index will stay in the severe category. It is anticipated that northwest winds will pick up in speed, helping to spread the pollutants and provide some respite from the current air pollution.
