Update on New Festival Special Trains: In order to help people see their family over the holiday season, Railways has decided to operate a few extra trains, including the New Delhi-Patna Junction Vande Bharat.

Special Trains for Festivals: As the holiday season begins, people's top worry is how to organize for train travel to go to their city or hamlet. Trains headed for Bihar are packed, especially around Diwali and Chhath. There is news that may ease your anxiety and take away your concern. This information was provided by Northern Railway in a news release issued today.

Northern Railway is operating a new special train for festivals.

During festivals, passengers may travel to see their loved ones on the new Vande Bharat Express, which runs between Delhi and Patna on Northern Railway. The festive special trains would travel thirty times between New Delhi as well as Patna Junction Vande Bharat, Delhi Sarai Rohilla as well as Okha, Bandra Terminus along with Jammu Tawi, along with Mumbai Central to Kathgodam.

Four new trains were announced, including the Vande Bharat.

In a press release, Deepak Kumar, the Chief Public Relations Officer of Northern Railway, stated that due to the impending festival, special trains for Jammu Tawi and Mumbai Central-Kathgodam will be run by the railways to facilitate the arrival of passengers and provide extra crowd clearance at New Delhi-Patna Junction Vande Bharat, Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Okha, alongside Bandra-Terminus.

Train No. 02252 New Delhi-Patna Junction Vande Bharat Reserved Special will arrive at Patna Junction at 7:00 pm on the same day after leaving New Delhi at 07.25 am on November 11, 2023, November 14, 2023, and November 16, 2023. On November 12, 2023, November 15, 2023, and November 17, 2023, at 07.30 am, the 02251 Patna Junction-New Delhi Vande Bharat Reserved Special train will leave Patna Junction and arrive in New Delhi at 7:00 pm on the same day. Along the way, this special train will make stops at the following stations: Arrah Junction, Buxar, Prayagraj Junction, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, while Kanpur Central.

This train will travel on November 11, 14, and 16 from Delhi to Patna and on November 12–15, 17 from Patna to Delhi. This train will have 16–18 carriages available in total. The stations at Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Deendayal Upadhyay, Buxar, alongside Arrah will be the train's stoppages. This train will travel at an average speed of 86 km/h. There will be 02252 Vande Bharat trains running from Delhi to Patna. There will be 02251 Vande Bharat trains running from Patna to Delhi.

Every Tuesday between October 31, 2023, and November 28, 2023, at 10:00 am, the Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Okha Special train (number 09523) will leave Okha and arrive in Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 10:00 am the following day. Every Wednesday between January 1, 2023, and November 29, 2023, at 01.20 pm, the 09524 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Okha special train would leave Delhi Sarai Rohilla and arrive in Okha at 01.50 pm the following day.
