"Virendra's appeal reflected the emotions of the trapped laborers and their loved ones present at this location. With each obstacle that the rescue effort must overcome, optimism is steadily giving way to frustration and despair.
Sunita remarked of her early chat with Virendra, "Today we chatted for around 10 minutes. He skipped breakfast this morning. He informed me that he is not hungry. Right now, we're really concerned. seemed agitated and irritated. He persisted in asking us when he will appear."
She is a Bihar inhabitant who has arrived to the location with her spouse Devendra and Virendra's spouse.

Devendra, Virendra's older brother, said that while he receives optimism from the authorities every day, there has been no progress to yet.
"For the last two days we have been assured by the authorities that they (stranded workers) are being evacuated soon, but something or other keeps happening and the process gets delayed," Devender remarked in a furious tone.
Between the trapped workers and their families, a communication infrastructure made of six-inch-wide pipes facilitates contact.
Through this conduit, an endoscopic camera was also introduced to provide rescue personnel and the families of the stranded individuals with an image of the inside.
In an attempt to provide the stranded workers with an escape path, rescue personnel are now attempting to place broad pipes among the rubble.
Due to the auger machine's constant difficulties, drilling in the damaged section of the tunnel has ceased since Friday. On Saturday, a site tunnel specialist reported that the device had malfunctioned.
Other solutions are still being considered by the rescuers, such manually drilling the last 10 to 12 meters or building a vertical escape path for the 41 trapped miners.
When a section of a tunnel that was being built on the Char Dham path in Uttarakhand collapsed due to a landslide, trapping workers inside, the multi-agency rescue operation got underway on November 12.
