 UN head says Gaza killings demonstrate "something is wrong with Israel operation."


Conflict between Israel and Hamas: Antonio Guterres said that there was "clearly wrong" with Israel's military actions in Gaza.


According to Reuters Next, Antonio Guterres, secretary-general of the United Nations, the quantity of civilian deaths in the Gaza Strip indicates that there is "clearly wrong" with Israel's offensive actions in Gaza. At the same time, Hamas claimed that the UN agency for Palestinian refugees was "colluding" with Israel to carry out the "forced displacement" of Gaza inhabitants.


According to news agency AFP, Salama Maruf, the director of Hamas's communications office in Gaza, "UNRWA and its management bear responsibility for this catastrophic catastrophe, in particular those who are citizens of the Gaza (City) area and north of it" who are obeying Israeli military orders to escape south.


As it fights Hamas in Gaza City, Israel has ordered Palestinians living in the north to go south. The UN previously said that the conflict, which began on October 7, had forced 1.5 million of the 2.4 million residents of Gaza to flee their homes. After Hamas overflowed into southern Israel and killed 1,400 people—mostly civilians—fighting broke out. According to Gaza's health ministry, over 10,500 individuals have died in the conflict, the most of them civilians.
