The demand for HR-related jobs increased by 20% in October 2021 but decreased by 4% in 2022 as big companies and startups reduced their recruiting, resulting in widespread layoffs.


Nonetheless, there is once again demand for the positions—a 16 percent rise was seen in October 2023. According to experts, the reason for this notable expansion is because recruiting specialists are no longer the only ones involved in HR.

The CEO of FoundIt, Shekhar Garissa, states that in order for HR to get the required abilities, they must now spend in training and courses and obtain relevant certificates or credentials. According to her, HR has to be ready for a number of new positions, such as HR data director, gig talent manager, WFH coordinator, skills design leader, and wellness and culture head.
