K Chandrasekhar Rao, the chief minister of Telangana and leader of the BRS, will submit his nomination papers for the assembly elections scheduled for November 30 in Gajwel and Kamareddy on Thursday.

Prior to submitting his nomination papers for the elections, Rao had visited the Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple nearby Konaipally in the Siddipet constituency on November 4 and performed special prayers.


By storing his nomination papers in the temple's sanctum sanctorum, he carried out a pooja.


Beginning on November 13, Rao will continue his travels after a short hiatus for Diwali.


In preparation for the elections, he would speak at 54 "Praja Ashirwad" gatherings from November 13 to November 28.


On November 28, in Gajwel, the BRS head will speak at the polling place's last rally.
