Through a more integrated approach, the firm hopes to increase its income streams and enhance consumer experiences across its wide variety of goods, according to Razorpay.


Kothari was Razorpay's Chief Business Officer (CBO) before taking on the role of COO.

Rahul Kothari has been appointed to Chief Operating Officer (COO) for India and Malaysia operations at Razorpay, the largest digital payments platform in India, the firm said on November 7.


This action is in line with Razorpay's plans to expand globally, especially in Southeast Asia (SEA), the press release said. Razorpay went on, "With a more integrated strategy, the company hopes to improve customer experiences across its diverse range of the goods and boost its revenue streams."


Razorpay has "continuously pursued its vision of empowering enterprises in India and globally through ongoing advancement in payment solutions," according to Kothari, who expressed his happiness on the occasion.


"Razorpay is continually a trailblazer, introducing groundbreaking offerings in the realm of everything settlements and banking," he said.


And this goal has guided every invention we have made. I am thrilled and very humbled by this chance as we continue to leave our mark on the world," Kothari said.


"I look forward to engage in with our business leaders to co-engineer for a long time plans and strategies, making additional contributions to this rapidly evolving global financial technology landscape," stated the newly appointed chief operating officer.


Kothari was Razorpay's Chief Business Officer (CBO) before taking on the role of COO. In his capacity as CBO, he was in charge of creating and carrying out corporate expansion initiatives that complemented the organization's overarching objectives.


Over his three and a half years at PayU, Kothari implemented strategies to increase the company's payments division's profitability. In addition, he has experience with Boston Consulting Group, Symantec, and WNS.
