Raaj Kumar Anand, a minister in Delhi, claims to have been harassed after ED searches against him ended

The searches began at 7:30 am on Thursday and ended until 5 am on Friday. They were conducted as part of a money laundering investigation into the minister and a few others connected to him.

Raaj Kumar Anand, the Delhi Cabinet Minister, said that there was a "conspiracy to harass" Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) officials during the roughly 23-hour Enforcement Directorate searches, which came to a close early on Friday.

The searches began at 7:30 am on Thursday and ended until 5 am on Friday. They were conducted as part of a money laundering investigation into the minister and a few others connected to him.

The searches lasted for almost twenty-three hours, and they are a component of the plot to intimidate AAP officials. The minister informed reporters that ED officers had left his home in the national capital's Civil Lines neighborhood, saying, "We were harassed since morning."

According to the sources, the investigation against Anand was carried out in accordance with the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMlA).

According to the sources, the probe is based on a charge sheet that the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) submitted, which alleges fraudulent statements in imports to evade customs for more than Rs 7 crore in addition to international hawala transactions.

Following the DRI prosecution complaint's recent admission to court, the ED allegedly filed a PMLA case against Anand and a few other people. Anand, 57, is one of the ministers in the Arvind Kejriwal-led administration, responsible for social welfare and SC/ST welfare among other things. He represents Patel Nagar as an MLA.
