On Wednesday, Hyundai Motor India said that its October total wholesale sales increased by 18% year over year to 68,728 units. In October 2022, the South Korean carmaker had shipped 58,006 vehicles.
From 48,001 units in the same month last year to 55,128 units this month, its domestic sales climbed by 15%. October of this year saw a 36% year-over-year increase in exports to 13,600 units.
Hyundai Motor India COO Tarun Garg said, "The announcement that all Hyundai models and variants will now have six airbags as standard has been extremely well received by our valued customers. Additionally, the supply situation is back to full normalcy and our distribution center is targeted up to delight customers with the delivery of their favorite Hyundai cars."
