 Mukesh Ambani said that Reliance will spend Rs 20,000 crore in Bengal over the next three years


Chairman of Reliance Industries Mukesh Ambani said in the Bengal Global Business submission that Reliance intends to spend Rs 20,000.


Chairman and CEO of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani, said at Bengal Global Business Submit 2023 on Tuesday that the company has already spent over Rs 45,000 crore in Bengal. Over the next three years, the business plans to spend an extra around Rs 20,000 crore in the state. 


Jio's presence in 98.8% of Bengal


Ambani went on to say that 98.8% of Bengal had Jio coverage. Jio is simultaneously offering its service over the whole of Kolkata. The rollout of Jio Fiber and Air Fiber is happening quickly. Every Bengali household will soon be transformed into a smart home.


Simultaneously, Reliance Retail is growing its company quickly across the state. About 5 lakh food retailers have been reached by Jio Mart. Over the next two years, we want to add 200 more outlets to the Reliance Retail network. Reliance now has almost a thousand outlets throughout Bengal.


The business's emphasis on bioenergy 


He said that India is making quick progress in this area and has emerged as the world's biggest producer of bioenergy. Over the next three years, we expect to establish one hundred compressed biogas facilities. Two million tons less carbon emissions will result from this. In Bengal, we also want to establish compressed biogas facilities. This will facilitate the transformation of the food source into an energy source. He also discussed accelerating the promotion of renewable energy.
