"At the end of the day, you are able to supply great B2C (business to consumer) interactions only if the infrastructure is taken care of," according to Kumar, which is why the firm is fixing key infrastructure challenges.

Mistyfly, a supplier of travel service solutions, said on Wednesday that it is collaborating with Google Cloud to foster innovation and development in the travel technology industry. The partnership is centered on combining Google's cutting-edge cloud services and generative AI capabilities with Mistyfly's Smart Selling Platform (SSP).

The chief executive officer of Mistyfly, Rajeev Kumar, stated: "Our collaboration with Google Cloud seeks to update travel infrastructure throughout the ecosystem, offering solutions that connect new and old technologies and maximize the effectiveness of suppliers and vendors as well as the discriminating needs of travelers. The business was established in 2009.

"At the end of the day, you may deliver great B2C (business to consumer) services only if the infrastructure is taken care of," according to Kumar, which is why the firm is fixing key infrastructure challenges. 85 percent of Mistyfly's overall income and business, according to him, originates from outside of India.

India makes little less than 15% of our total income. And that's been the situation for the last ten years because, as we say, traveling isn't really something that is related to a nation," he said. The firm serves enterprises in the Asia Pacific area in addition to those in America and Europe. Before obtaining $5 million from Recruit Holdings in Japan, Mistyfly was originally bootstrapped for seven years. It started turning a profit in 2017 and continued to do so in 2019.

Kumar said that during the pandemic, the company's travel had ceased entirely and that "in less than 24 months because the borders opened, we... have been able to get back to where we were pre-Covid". "As well as in that journey, the next step for us is this Google partnership, whose is very relevant to how we're able to bring uniformity to airline retail," he said.
