 Mcap of the top ten most valuable companies rises to Rs 97,463 crore, with Reliance leading


Reliance Industries' market value increased by Rs 36,399.36 to Rs 15,68,995.24 billion. The market capitalization (mcap) of State Bank of India surged from Rs 15,305.71 crore to Rs 5,15,976.44 crore.


Amidst an overall upward trend in stocks, the aggregate market valuation of nine of the top ten most valued companies increased by Rs 97,463.46 crore last week, with Reliance Industries, which began emerging as the largest gainer.


The BSE benchmark increased by 580.98 points, or 0.91 percent, last week.


With the exception of Bajaj Finance, the other nine companies saw gains, including State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, as well as Reliance Industries.


Reliance Industries' market value increased by Rs 36,399.36 to Rs 15,68,995.24 billion. The market capitalization (mcap) of State Bank of India surged from Rs 15,305.71 crore to Rs 5,15,976.44 crore.


ICICI Bank's value increased by Rs 14,749.52 crore to Rs 6,54,042.46 crore, while HDFC Bank's valuation increased by Rs 11,657.11 crore to Rs 11,25,842.89 crore.


Hindustan Unilever Limited's cap increased by Rs 6,320.4 crore to Rs 5,89,418.46 crore, while Bharti Airtel's increased by Rs 9,352.15 crore to Rs 5,23,087.22 crore.


Infosys increased its value to Rs 5,76,529.86 crore by adding Rs 3,507.08 crore. The value of ITC increased by Rs 62.36 crore to Rs 5,40,699.70 crore, while the valuation of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) increased by Rs 109.77 crore to Rs 12,26,093.23 crore.


But Bajaj Finance's market capitalization dropped to Rs 4,49,604.04 crore from Rs 5,210.91 crore.


The most valuable company is still Reliance Industries, with TCS, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Hindustan Unilever, Infosys, ITC, Bharti Airtel, State Bank of India, as well as Bajaj Finance following.
