Life Certificate: Pensioners do not need to visit the bank in order to submit the life certificate after they have obtained the signatures of these officials

Life Certificate: According to the Central Pension Accounting Office, a pensioner may submit his life certificate in lieu of appearing before the Pension Disbursing Agency (PDA).

Pensioners have several choices to submit life certificates to the federal and state governments, including face authentication, door step banking, and post office services. According to the Central Pension Accounting Office, a pensioner may submit his life certificate in lieu of appearing before the Pension Disbursing Agency (PDA). This requires the signature of an authorized authority on the pensioner's life certificate. It is stated in the Central Pension Accounting Office (CPAO) plan manual that these pensioners do not have to be present in person. The names of all such identified officials who are qualified to sign the life certificate have been made public.

It is claimed that a pensioner's actual attendance is not necessary if they submit the life certificate form that has been signed by the authorized authority. A pensioner who submits the Life Certificate in the necessary format and with the requisite signatures is free from making an in-person appearance, as per paragraph 14.3 of the Scheme Booklet provided by CPAO.

What actions are required?

You must first obtain the life certificate form from the pension website that is intended for those who receive state or federal government pensions in order to submit the life certificate in this manner. After that, you must fill out this form completely, including your PPO number, and have the designated officer sign it.
