There is excellent news for Rajasthani government workers before Diwali. Employees of the government now get a four percent rise in their dearness allowance. The state administration's request to raise the dearness allowance for Rajasthani government workers has been accepted by the Election Commission. The current increase in this allotment is 4%, or 46%. This information on "X" has been supplied by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

CM Gehlot wrote, "Gift on the celebration!" It is a cause for celebration that the Election Commission has accepted the administration's request to raise dearness allowance by 4% in support of Rajasthani government workers. According to what he said, Rajasthan's dearness allowance has now gone from 42% to 46%. This move would assist over eight lakh Rajasthani workers and over four lakh pensioners.

The Election Commission received the hike request.

Notably, the state has enacted a Model Code of Conduct in light of the upcoming assembly elections scheduled for November 25. The dearness allowance for workers was recently raised by the Central Government. It was then put into effect by the state. However, a request for this was first submitted to the Election Commission in light of the Model Code of Conduct that the state had enforced before of the Assembly elections.
