 Imperial College London is awarding the "biggest ever scholarship" to Indian students

All applicants who submit an application to Imperial and are accepted before May 11, 2024, will be given consideration for the award.

Imperial announced that it has partnered with the UK Government's Chevening Scholarships program in addition to launching the new Future Leaders scholarship program.

Over the course of the next three years, 30 Master's students from India will receive funding from Imperial College London's "The Future Leaders Scholarship" initiative. According to reports, the initiative represents Imperial's "largest ever financial commitment" to Indian students.

All applicants who submit an application to Imperial and are accepted before May 11, 2024, will be given consideration for the award.

Following Dr. Jitendra Singh's April visit to Imperial's campus as India's Minister of Sciences and Technologies, the Future Leaders scholarship program was established, according to Imperial.

In addition to the recently announced Future Leaders scholarship program, Imperial announced that it has forged a new alliance with the UK Government's Chevening Scholarships program, which will finance three more Master's students from India over the course of the next three years.

The scholarship is available to students pursuing Master's degrees in engineering, the natural sciences, business, and medical research. It will pay the whole cost of tuition and living costs.

Alex Ellis, the British High Commissioner to India, states that India hosts the biggest Chevening program in the UK, with over 3,700 scholars and fellows since 1983. Indian citizens also get the greatest number of UK student visas.

The deadline for submissions for the Imperial College London-Chevening Scholarships is November 7, 2023.
