Increase in Home Rent: Over the last nine months, major Indian cities have seen a sharp rise in home rentals. Residential rentals in Bengaluru, the IT hub, increased dramatically between January and September of last year by almost 31%. The rent for a 2 BHK, or 1000 square meter, apartment in Bengaluru has increased by almost 31%, according to a survey by real estate consultancy Anarock.

In Bengaluru, rent for a two-bedroom apartment may top Rs 28,500 per month. In January, the monthly amount was around Rs 24,600. In this case, there has been a rise in housing costs of almost thirty percent between January and September. On the other hand, throughout the last nine months, property rentals on Bengaluru's Sarjapur Road have gone up by almost 27%.


Additionally, rent rose in these cities.


In addition to Bengaluru, other major cities have seen increases in residential rent throughout the last nine months, according Anarock's analysis. The names of cities like as Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi, and Mumbai are included in this. Between January and September, apartment rentals in IT City Hyderabad increased by twenty-four percent. In contrast, during the last nine months, residential rent in Pune has increased by 17%. In terms of Delhi, the Dwarka neighborhood had a 14% rise in home rentals between January and September. On the other hand, rental prices in Noida Sector 150 have increased by 13%, while those on Sohna Road in Gurugram have increased by 11%.


In Mumbai, there has been a rise in the rental prices of residential properties in the Chembur and Mulund localities of 14% and 9%, respectively. In contrast, property rentals in Chennai's Pallavaram and Perambur neighborhoods have increased by 12% and 9%, respectively. However, during the last nine months, rates in Kolkata's Bypass and Rajarhat neighborhoods have increased by 14% and 9%, respectively.
