By mid-2024, Hero, the leading motorbike manufacturer in the nation, plans to launch its electric scooter brand, VIDA V1, and start doing business in those areas.

Hero MotoCorp, an Indian firm, said on November 7 that it will be introducing its electric cars to the UK and other European countries, beginning with Spain and France.

Next, it said, the business would increase the number of ICE bikes and scooters in its premium lineup in Europe.

Hero's distributor in the UK is Motogb; in France and Spain, the resellers will be GD France and Noria Motos, a division of Onex Group, respectively.

By December, the business plans to have covered 100 Indian cities with electric vehicles. It has been increasing its EV footprint in India.
