The state government has set a maximum bonus limit of Rs 7,000 for all non-gazetted state workers. CM Yogi has also wished a happy Diwali to everyone in addition to this.

According to CM Yogi Adityanath's writing on X, 46% of the base pay would be awarded to all state workers, pensioners, urban bodies, UGC employees, assisted educational and technical institutions, and work-charged employees who contribute to Uttar Pradesh's success. There will be a dearness allowance given.


In a same vein, it has been agreed to provide bonuses to all state employees (non-gazetted) and work-charged employees, teachers, non-teaching staff, and daily wage workers equivalent to thirty days' wages (with a maximum limit of ₹ 7,000).

The dearness allowance has gone hiked by 4%.



The Yogi administration declared plans to raise the dearness allowance. Approximately ten lakh state workers will gain from this. In addition, 8 lakh teachers and pensioners would get benefits. Up until recently, state workers have received DA/DR at a rate of 42%. It has grown to 46 percent after a 4 percent gain.
