In 1966, Basu Chatterjee's film "Teesri Kasam" was released. Waheeda Rehman played the role of Raj Kapoor's opposite in the movie. The short tale 'Mare Gaye Gulfam' served as the inspiration for this film. Despite having a lot of heart, this picture was a box office disaster. Even throughout the filming of this movie, the performers faced hardships.

A significant portion of the movie was filmed in Bina, Madhya Pradesh, when the unit shattered the kids' hearts. Although Raj Kapoor and Waheeda Rehman's filming in Bina was kept a secret, the pupils nevertheless learned about it. In a setting like this, he couldn't help but want to see Waheeda and Raj Kapoor.
