Farmers from outlying parts of Punjab stood on both sides of the road from Bawa White House Phase-11 to Jagatpura Chowk starting on Sunday morning, atop tractor-trolleys and other vehicles. Their carts were parked by the side of the road. He was scheduled to march on Chandigarh on Sunday, but the farmers union has requested that he pause for the time being near the border.

Over a thousand farmers have arrived in Panchkula and over 5,000 farmers have arrived in Jagatpura. Work has begun on erecting tents for them, and langars for meal preparations have been started. The protest location is being used to cook langar.
