 Employee DA Hike: 15% rise in DA, directive from the Finance Ministry, and funds to be sent into the account in December


Workers' DA Increase: The Central Government has provided the central staff with a great deal of respite. Their dearness allowance rates have been adjusted. Additionally, orders have been sent for this. They will get the advantage of higher dearness allowance in accordance with the issued order.


The Central Government as well as Central Health Bodies' employee cost-of-living rates have been updated. An office note has been issued on this. Employees of Central Government and Central Health Bodies will get their dearness allowance based on the Fifth Central Pay Commission's pre-revised compensation scale. A 15% increase in their dearness allowance has been granted.


The present basic pay rate for workers in Central Autonomous Bodies and the Central Government has been raised from 412 percent to 427 percent in such a scenario. is in effect as of July 1, 2023. Along with regularizing the dearness allowance under these directives, the stipulations included in Sections 3, 4, and 5 of the Ministry's Office Memorandum dated October 3, 1997 will also be put into effect.


The Ministry Department and all organizations under administrative supervision have to be made aware of the contents of the same office memorandum, according to instructions. Employees receiving the fifth pay grade in the central autonomous bodies now get a 15% increase in dearness allowance. The amount of their dearness allowance has been raised to 427% from 412%.


Previously, workers in the seventh pay scale received a 4% boost in DA. His percentage of DA has gone from 42 to 46 percent. It went into effect on July 1.
