DMRC Metro schedule Change: DMRC notified of a change in metro schedule for Diwali

DMRC Metro Timing Change: In contrast to regular days, there will be a change in metro schedules during Diwali. Important information in this respect has been made public by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.

Delhi Metro: On Diwali, the metro's operating hours will vary. The schedule for Sunday's first and final trains has been released by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). The final train on all metro lines will run at 10 p.m. on November 12, Diwali, rather than 11 p.m.

According to DMRC, all lines and sections will have metro service (the metro train timetable) starting at 6 am on the day of Diwali. On the other hand, the Airport Express Line will only begin operating at 4.45 am. On the other hand, at 10 p.m. the same night, the final train will depart from the terminal station, or the station where the voyage begins.

It is well known that Dhanteras, which falls on the day before Diwali, has caused a significant surge in market activity. Furthermore, Delhi is in a dire situation due to the surge in air pollution. The air quality index (AQI), which measures pollution levels, has surpassed 600–700 in several parts of Delhi. There are poor conditions in places like Lodhi Road and Anand Vihar. Odd even was introduced for automobiles on November 13. The schools have declared their winter vacation.

To help people go to their workplaces and other locations, Delhi Metro has also increased its frequency at the same time. In addition to the metro, there has been a reduction in the time of bus feeder services. Every day, between 25 and 30 lakh passengers use the Delhi Metro. Rules pertaining to festivals and pollution may cause congestion in the metro to worsen.

There can also be scheduling adjustments for the metros in Noida and Ghaziabad. This might shortly be announced by Noida Metro Rail Corporation. Trains to different parts of Delhi are run from Noida and Ghaziabad.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation altered the timetable of its metro trains on October 24, the day of the Diwali festival, last year as well. Delhi Metro transports passengers from all around the National Capital Region.
