 Delhi's pollution crisis worsens; all elementary schools will be shuttered till November 10 and courses will be conducted virtually


The air is gradually becoming toxic.

Delhi's progressively becoming toxic air is turning out to be quite hazardous. The Delhi Education Minister, Atishi, said on Saturday that elementary schools would be closed till November 10. People find it quite difficult to leave their houses when there is such a high amount of pollution in Delhi.


The air quality index in Delhi is still higher than 400. On Sunday, most places reported the similar level. Although the authorities are making an effort to maintain control, not much is changing.


The Minister of Education provided information on social media.

The Education Minister has announced on social media that elementary schools in Delhi would be closed till November 10 in the event that pollution levels do not decrease. For grades 6 through 12, there will be an option to hold lessons online.


Additionally, it is informed that The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) is preparing the Winter Action Plan (WAP)-2023–2024 so that the implicated may face the proper consequences.
