Flight Fare: According to a SpiceJet executive who spoke to us on the condition of anonymity, this may be the first time that the airline's ticket sales over the holiday season have fallen short of expectations.

Officials report that compared to the holiday season of last year, there has been a 10-15% decrease in demand for plane tickets. But in contrast to 2019, before the Covid epidemic, demand has soared. The airline has lowered fares at a period of rising expenses for things like aircraft fuel and airport charges.

In comparison to the previous year, the average flight ticket in the week before to Diwali this year stayed around Rs 6,500.
