'Fortnite' creator Epic Games is the only plaintiff in Alphabet's Google's antitrust trial against the company, which is scheduled to start on November 6. Google has resolved charges made by dating app developer Matching Groups that it monopolized Android app distribution via its Play Store.

Match stated in a document made on Tuesday to a federal court in San Francisco that it had settled its lawsuit against Google.

Google expressed its satisfaction at "reaching a settlement agreement with Match Group" in a statement. Google recently reached a settlement for undisclosed terms with US states and customers on similar antitrust charges.

In a Tuesday earnings release, Match informed investors that it and Google had come to an arrangement "that will provide value exchange across their extensive relationship."

In the Epic and Match lawsuit, U.S. District Judge James Donato in San Francisco has scheduled jury selection to start this week. Epic is requesting an injunction to stop any purported transgressions of US antitrust laws.

In a post on the social networking site X, Tim Sweeney, the CEO of Epic Games, said, "Epic will go to trial against Google alone."

Google was charged by Epic and Match of having an illegal monopoly on the transportation of Android applications. Google "extracts billions in monopoly profits and discourages innovation and choice in multiple markets," according to the firms.

Refuting any misconduct, Google said that the accusations sprang from 'the illusion that Google does not compete against Apple' with regard to app sales.

Due to its dominance in the online search sector and its commercial dealings with advertising technologies, Google is separately facing federal and state antitrust claims in several U.S. courts.
