Baidu releases a premium version of Ernie Bot, a ChatGPT-like bot

The popular Chinese search engine Baidu released a premium version of its ChatGPT-like Ernie bot on Wednesday; a monthly subscription of 59.9 yuan ($8.18) is required.
Like ChatGPT, Ernie bot is driven by generative artificial intelligence. It was the first of many Chinese chatbots with AI capabilities to be released.
