At EICMA 2023, Royal Enfield will disclose the Himalayan 450's pricing; pre-orders will open in India

At EICMA 2023, Royal Enfield debuted the most recent version of the Himalayan, making its premiere worldwide. In addition to providing detailed information on the new adventure tourer, the firm started accepting motorbike reservations in India.

Customers who are interested in purchasing the new Himalayan may now do so by making a small payment of ₹10,000. Deliveries are expected to start after the pricing announcement at RE Motoverse on November 24.

This year's much anticipated introduction of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 marks a big turning point for the business. It represents a sea change in the brand's philosophy toward embracing cutting-edge technology. The annual RE Motoverse event in Goa, which draws Royal Enfield owners and fans from all over the world, will host the formal unveiling of the Himalayan 450. The business has established a yearly habit of showcasing something unique during Rider Mania, having previously unveiled the 650 Twins at the event.

Interestingly, the most recent Royal Enfield Himalayan brings to the brand a number of firsts, including a ride-by-wire system, an all-digital dashboard, a liquid-cooled engine, and lighter parts like a forged piston. The recently designed Sherpa 450 engine serves as its power source. This one-cylinder engine has a maximum output of 40 Nm at 5,500 rpm and 39.4 horsepower at 8,000 rpm. It has a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch attached to it.

Built on a brand-new twin-spar chassis, the adventure tourer has a 7-step adjustable monoshock at the back and 43 mm USD front forks. A 320 mm single front disc and a 270 mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS make up its braking system. Furthermore, for off-road adventures, motorcyclists may disable the rear ABS module.

With ride-by-wire technology, the bike has two different riding modes: Performance and Eco. It also features a bigger fuel tank (17 liters), and the default seat height is 825 mm with an additional 845 mm increase option.

The spoke wheels of the Himalayan 450 are 17 inches in the back and 21 inches up front. It will have tubed tires when it is first introduced in India; tubeless tires will be added after the homologation procedure is finished. The bike has Ceat rubber on it that was co-developed with Royal Enfield. The front tire is a 90/90 unit, while the rear tire is a 140/80 unit.

However, when it launches, the new Royal Enfield Himalayan will be available in three different configurations: Base, Pass, and Summit. There will be five color variations available, with just one color remaining from the previous Himalayan 411.
