Artist Economy Summit: Ananya Birla discusses art, commerce, and being Birla,

In addition to her current shoe company, Ananya Birla is set to introduce a "couple of fun consumer brands".

Businesswoman and musician Ananya Birla said at the Moneycontrol Creator Economy Summit on October 31 that she would be launching her own consumer brand in addition to a few other launches.

Birla's enthusiasm for creating successful firms is well-known. She was admitted as a director to the Aditya Birla Fashion board earlier this year. She changed the name of Aditya Birla Global Trading as well.

"Being a member of the Birla family from birth meant that my life was prearranged. I am 29 years old, and every other female in the family got married when she was 22. At the Mumbai event, Birla said, "I am on the boards; no girl was involved in the family business."

She said, without giving any information, that there would be a "couple of fun consumer brands" among the debuts.

Birla claimed that she loves to assign tasks and makes sure that everyone in the room is wiser than her while operating businesses. The idea behind teams in business is that you don't have to be an expert at everything. I bring on individuals that are much better than me as a leader on my team. "I try to be okay at everything, but there's one line that goes really deep. Imagine a 'T,'" Birla said.

Among her strong points are product development, customer knowledge, design, positioning, marketing, and people management.

In addition, Birla is the owner of Svatantra Microfin, which paid Rs 1,479 crore to buy Sachin Bansal's Chaitanya India Fin.  It's interesting to note that Svatantra Microfin was established after her withdrawal from Oxford University. "Svatantara wouldn't have been what it is currently if I hadn't dropped out," she said.

Birla writes music in her spare time. The vocalist of Let There Be Love said that music is how she starts and finishes each day. Birla was once requested to remove her last name when it was mentioned to her that many people weren't enjoying her songs because of it.

However, she isn't seeking fulfillment from outside sources. "My name brings pride, not pressure," Birla, who is also Kumar Mangalam Birla's daughter, said. According to Birla, the procedure may be a "vicious cycle" for content producers since the amount of likes and comments on their work might influence them negatively.
