After being seen removing posters of Israeli children, the public defender for NY County faces criticism

Public defender Victoria Ruiz of New York County is under criticism for taking down posters depicting Israeli children abducted by Hamas.

County Public Defender of New York Victoria Ruiz was seen destroying posters depicting Israeli youngsters abducted by militants affiliated with Hamas. On X, the former Twitter, videos of her demolishing the posters have gone viral. Online users are furious with her behavior and want her to step down right now. The individual filming the video continuously challenged Ruiz, "Why are you taking down pictures of innocent children?" as she walked away in the viral movie. The guy filming the video was irritated by Ruiz's inexperience and said, "Why are you taking down pictures of babies?" when she failed to answer any of the questions.

Ruiz, an employee of the New York County Defender Service, has drawn criticism for her behavior. "Some of those posters depict Americans kidnapped by Hamas," a social media user said. How can she work as a public defender in America if she is incapable of defending American children? "You will need to thoroughly audit every case she ever worked on or touched," said another irate customer. Victoria Ruiz lacks honesty and good judgment, and she is rife with prejudice and intolerance. She and your clients did not get even a fraction of the finest legal defense to which they are entitled.

"She has the emotional maturity of a 12-year-old who doesn't get their way," said a further user. She is a public defender for New York County, how awful. Too sensitive to even pass by a billboard that disagreed with her. How unflattering. The Israeli military has disclosed to the BBC that 242 people—of whom 30 are thought to be abducted children—are being kept captive by Hamas. A number of the impacted families have made public their comments. Terrorists from Hamas posted a startling video of themselves playing with abducted kids only one month ago. ABC reports that about 1400 Israeli people have gone there so far.
