With its new 'tailored feedback' tool, Google Search will aid users in India who want to improve their English. Here's how it works

With the new 'tailored feedback' tool, Google Search will now assist users in India, Indonesia, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, or Venezuela in learning English.

Google said in a blog post about the new function that learning a language may lead to new possibilities. It may facilitate cross-cultural interactions, global travel, and job advancement... Although learning a new language is challenging, many students identify a lack of opportunities to practice speaking actively and get useful feedback as a learning obstacle.

We have collaborated with linguists, educators, and ESL/EFL pedagogical specialists to provide an efficient and inspiring speaking practice experience. Approaches that are proven to be beneficial in assisting learners in developing their speaking confidence include having them practice vocabulary in real-world settings and repeating content over dynamic intervals to boost memory.

What's the process behind the new customized feedback feature?

Users may get semantic feedback on their speaking abilities via the customized feedback tool, which helps them determine whether or not their answers to questions are likely to be understood by a conversation partner. Google also includes a grammatical feedback option that offers recommendations for potential grammar enhancements and other approaches to address a certain scenario.

The new function even has a daily reminder option and offers users personalized feedback based on their 3-5 minute practice sessions.

Google will also provide users with the option to see a sentence's contextual translation, which will help them learn English more effectively. Users may touch on a word throughout their training and comprehend its meaning depending on the context.

A new deep learning model called Deep Aligner that was created in partnership with the Google Translate team powers Google's new English learning tools. In the coming days, users in supported countries will be able to use the new services, and the search engine giant has pledged to quickly introduce support for other languages and nations.
