Live coverage of the Israel-Gaza War: Gilad Erdan, Israel's Permanent Representative to the UN, described Hamas as an organization that shares goals with the "Nazis" and stressed that it doesn't seem to be trying to find a way to end the fight. 

According to Erdan, Hamas wants to exterminate the Jewish people.

As they increase their ground operations in the area, Israel's military forces have acknowledged carrying out operations that struck more than 600 militant locations in recent days.

"Hamas are Gaza's rulers and modern-day Nazis," Israeli ambassador Gilad Erdan declares to the UN

The Permanent Representative of Israel to the UN Hamas has been referred to as "modern-day Nazis" by Gilad Erdan, who also said that the terrorist organization is not trying to end the war. He said that the eradication of the Jewish people is Hamas's goal.

"Hamas are modern-day Nazis," that he said, addressing the UN Security Council meeting regarding the Israel-Hamas conflict on Monday (local time). From their heinous acts of brutality to their shared genocidal beliefs, Hamas is not looking for a way to end the war. Dialogue does not pique their attention. I would remind my colleagues that Hamas is the governor of Gaza, not you, and that their main goal is the ultimate solution—the destruction of the Jewish people." (ANI).
