 Unveils Teaser for Upcoming Special in South Park

The next South Park episode's trailer has been posted by Paramount+. It addresses the issues with AI in entertainment and is titled South Park: Joining the Panderverse.

"Cartman's deeply unsettling dreams portend the end of the life he knows and loves," reads the official synopsis. As the arrival of AI is upending their society, the grownups in South Park are also struggling with their own personal dilemmas.

Although not in their familiar forms, the teaser features Stan, Cartman, Kyle, and Kenny. They are portrayed by ladies rather than adolescent lads, indicating that the satirical program would poke fun at identity politics.

The voice cast stays the same despite character switching. Unlike the Season 7 trailer for Rick and Morty, which depicts a new Rick and Morty after Justin Roiland left Swim.

The creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, described the episode's lengthier than normal as a "new exclusive event." It follows South Park: Post Covid, South Park: Post Covid: The Return of Covid, South Park: The Streaming Wars, and South Park: The Streaming Wars Part 2 as their previous specials since the series' Comedy Central premiere in 1997.

Expect Joining the Panderverse to last an hour, just as each of previous programs did. On Friday, October 27, it streams in the US and Canada; the next day, it does so in the UK and Australia.
