Today's earthquake is of magnitude 3.2 and strikes after the Andaman Sea. Manipur
Manipur's Kangpokpi area experienced an earthquake on October 8 with a magnitude of 3.2 on the Richter scale, according to the National Center for Seismology.
The NCS added that the earthquakes occurred on October 8 at 7:22 am at a depth of 26 km.
"Earthquake of Magnitude: 3.2 occurred on 08-10-2023, 07:22:13 IST, Lat: 25.10 and Long: 93.86, Depth: 26 km, Location: Kangpokpi, Manipur," stated a post by the official NCS X account.
An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 struck the Andaman Sea earlier on Sunday in the early hours. According to the NCS, the earthquakes began around 3:20 am at a depth of 10 km.
The Government of India's NCS is the key organization for tracking seismic activity in the nation.
