Numerous Durga Puja pandals around the nation with themes ranging from Manipur violence to the G-20 Summit have been attracting plenty of tourists and devotees.

An elaborate Durga Puja pandal themed around the G20 Summit is being built in Patna, Bihar, and it is modeled after the state-of-the-art Bharat Mandapam in Delhi's Pragati Maidan, according to ANI.

Along with models of global leaders and notable foreign delegates that attended the event, including US President Joe Biden, the Durga Puja pandal has models of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Red Fort in Delhi is also included in the pandal.

The expense to build up the Durga Puja pandal in Odisha's Tulsichura, which is styled after the Winter Palace in Russia and modeled after the Paris landmark, is said to have been approximately 50 lakhs.

For the last 39 years, the Muslim and Hindu communities of Baripada, Odisha, have collaborated to plan and carry out Durga puja at Tulsichaura.

Major Durga pujas in Kolkata attracted large crowds, including those at College Square, Ekdalia Evergreen, Sree Bhumi Sporting Club, Baghbazar Sarbojonin, Jodhpur Park, Park Circus Sarbojonin, Santosh Mitra Square, Ahiritola Sarbojonin, Kumartuli Park, Babu Bagan, Deshopriyo Park, and BosePukur Sitala Mandir.

Subal Paul, a clay modeler from Kumartuli, created the Belgharia pandal for Aryanagar Kishore Sangha. It illustrates the turmoil the circus business is going through. According to PTI, the pandal at Mechua Bajar Sarbajanin Durga Puja Samity has the theme "Gobhirata" (depth) and is a model of an antique ship.

In Assam, coins worth more than 11 lakh are used to adorn the Shani Mandir Durga Puja pandal in Haiborgaon in the Nagaon district. The pandal has been constructed with coins of all values.
