Thank God you missed the goal. Sachin Tendulkar gets teased by Virender Sehwag for not scoring 100 against Pakistan

The legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and former Indian opener Virender Sehwag had a talk after the 'Master Blaster' failed to hit a century against Pakistan in the 2011 World Cup semifinal.

Before getting dismissed by right-arm off-break spinner Saeed Ajmal, Sachin began alongside Sehwag and produced a superb innings of 85.

After he got back, Sachin grinned at Sehwag, who was seated in the dugout, and Sehwag returned the smile.

In a news conference, Sehwag continued to discuss their subsequent interaction and said, "Sachin told me I know why you are smiling, I asked why." You must be thinking that I left the game before scoring a century because if I had, we would have lost, he continued. I asked him how he could read my heart since he had made two centuries, the first of which we lost and the second of which was tied. Thank God we were able to win the World Cup because he didn't reach a hundred.

With the big event once again being hosted in India, India will be eager to repeat the success of the World Cup in 2011.

The 'Men in Blue' began their campaign in Chennai with a valiant win against Australia. In order to build momentum before they take on Pakistan in Ahmedabad on Saturday, they will be eager to continue their winning streak against Afghanistan on Wednesday.
