Stephen A. Smith is rebuked by Jason Whitlock for jokingly calling him a "fat bastard" and a "seed of the devil"

Since launching his podcast, "The Stephen A. Smith Show," this year, ESPN "First Take" presenter Stephen A. Smith has grown more overtly combative.

He's always expressed his opinions, but they were often contained inside the confines of "First Take" or his ESPN radio program. It seems the presenter had made the decision to vent his complaints to anybody who would listen throughout the course of the previous year.

Recent guest appearances by Smith include "The Breakfast Club," "Podcast P with Paul George," and "The Joe Budden Podcast." Smith said to Joe Budden that he did not like working with his former co-host Max Kellerman and that he had given the ESPN management a choice between keeping him or Kellerman.

Many individuals came out in favor of Kellerman and against Smith as a result of this interview. Over the issue, Smith and his longtime foe Terrell Owens rekindled their feud. Marcellus Wiley's perspective on the incident was also criticized by the 55-year-old.

Wiley and Kellerman have a close friendship since they collaborated on shows like "SportsNation" and "Max and Marcellus" for many years. When Wiley said that Smith felt "threatened" and that Kellerman was "smarter" than he was, he stood up for his former colleague.

Wiley's remarks incensed Smith, who called Wiley out on "The Breakfast Club" and stated, "For a Black guy to sit up there and say another Black man is terrified of somebody's intelligence, come on, bro. You're almost crossing a line there.

Later, Wiley retorted that he had never stated such, but that Smith was a hypocrite who was using the racial card. Wiley said that Smith often on "First Take" challenges "the intellect, the heart, the talent, the mindset, the capabilities, and the health" of Black players.

On his "The Stephen A. Smith Show" program on October 11, Smith continued to talk about the dispute with Wiley. Although the sports commentator claimed to appreciate Wiley, he would tell him, "Bro, really? Are we currently doing that? A Black guy is terrified of a White man's intelligence? Really? Were we going to say anything similar in 2023? After all, I don't fear anybody, I guarantee you.

Smith said that when his conversation with Wiley was over, individuals wanted him to address additional identities, including one he stated would go unnamed. Smith said, "I will not deny it. I think he's a fat, no-good bastard who I despise to the core."

That's not Marcellus Wiley I'm talking about, Smith added. It's not difficult to determine who the heck I'm referring to.

He went on to say, "No, I'm not talking about my former colleague on 'First Take.'"

By referring to the individual in question as a "seed of the devil" and indicating that he wants to hurt Black people, Smith provided some information about the man in question.

Fans guess they may know the offender given the circumstances, and almost everyone assumes it is Jason Whitlock.

"Why the heck did you call @WhitlockJason a fat bastard?"

I wholeheartedly agree with this criticism of that big slob Jason Whitlock.

"This is the third prominent media figure this week to insult Whitlock. He is being removed from the paint, which is excellent.

"I like seeing Jason Whitlock get defamed. Bruh constantly had something horrible to say about the next black guy and was only a starburst away from having his leg severed.

Whitlock and Smith have been at odds for more than ten years since, in the early 2010s, Whitlock harshly criticized "First Take," and hence Smith. Whitlock also expresses his contempt for several Black sportsmen, entertainers, and public personalities, which is contrary to Smith's pro-Black objective.

Smith specifically mentioned Whitlock earlier this year. On "Hotboxin' with Mike Tyson," Tyson and Smith were discussing Allen Iverson when they started talking about Whitlock, one of Iverson's biggest detractors.

Iverson dislikes this other man, according to Tyson, but the boxer couldn't recall his name. Smith said, "Whitlock," "I don't talk about him cuz I feel the same damn way." Whitlock is "worse" than people know, according to Smith.

Whitlock decided to reply even though Smith this time didn't use his name.

Whitlock answered in a tweet when someone questioned why Smith would refer to Whitlock as a "fat bastard": "Because he's angry and passionate. In fact, he referred to me as the "seed of the devil." He's a little too sensitive about stuff. But I understand.

By photo-shopping Smith's face over Mini-Me from the "Austin Powers" film and the contentious sports analyst's visage over Fat Bastard, the feud was resumed. The tweet's caption said, "Today's concert is going to be fire. @stephenasmith, be fearless.

The two are likely to trade insults back and forth until one caves in, so it seems that this battle is getting hot.
