According to a railway source quoted by The Hindustan Times, more than 12 coaches of the Delhi-Kamakhya North East Express derailed on Wednesday night close to Raghunathpur station in Bihar's Buxar district. The top 10 updates are shown below.

Tejashwi Yadav, the deputy chief minister of Bihar, said in a statement that the departments of disaster management and health have been urged to act immediately to ensure that as many people as possible get help as soon as feasible. "I have also instructed the district magistrates of Buxar and Bhojpur, where Ara is based, to be to the disaster area as soon as possible and speed up relief efforts. Medical officials and other healthcare professionals are prepared for rescue and relief operations at Sub-Divisional Hospital Jagdishpur and Shahpur Hospital, District Bhojpur. The area has received ambulances from the districts of Rohtas, Buxar, and Bhojpur, according to Yadav.


10. The passengers of the wrecked train are being transported to their destinations, according to a railways official quoted by PTI. Deepak Kumar, an inspector with the Railway Police Force, informed reporters that "medical teams have been rushed to the scene," adding, "We have sent rescue and medical teams to the location.
