Drivers in Saudi Arabia have been given notice that a new regulation will take effect on Sunday, October 22. In Saudi Arabia, a vehicle registration license, or "istimara," must be purchased annually.

This regulation will take effect on Sunday, October 22.

It has been confirmed that this regulation will go into force on Sunday, October 22. Additionally, it has been stated that during this time, in the first phase, owners of new light cars with the 2024 model year will be subject to this law. This regulation will be put into effect in the second phase in 2024. This yearly charge will be determined by two factors.

Remember that the cost is broken down into 5 tiers dependent on how efficiently it uses gasoline. Additionally, it has been stated that there would be no tax for low usage automobiles. This regulation has been made mandatory for all drivers.
