Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, a legendary Indian cruiser, is now sold in the US and Canada

After a successful debut earlier this year in India, Royal Enfield has now made its premium model, the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, available in the North American market.

With three unique variants—Astral, Interstellar, and Celestial—the 2023 Royal Enfield Super Meteor, made in India, is now officially available in the United States and Canada.

The same 648 cc parallel-twin cylinder engine that powers the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 in North America produces 52.3 Nm of maximum torque at 5,650 rpm and 46.3 horsepower at 7,250 rpm. This engine is coupled with a 6-speed transmission. The cruiser has front 43 mm Showa Big Piston USD forks with 120 mm of travel and rear dual shock absorbers with a 5-step pre-load adjustment that have 101 mm of travel.

A 320 mm front disc brake with two-piston ByBre calipers and a 300 mm rear disc brake with a single-piston caliper make up the braking system. ABS with two channels is a typical feature. The Super Meteor has alloy wheels measuring 19 inches up front and 16 inches behind, each with CEAT Zoom Cruz tires.

It has a variety of features, including a USB connector, a Tripper navigation system with Bluetooth connection, warning lights, and other conveniences.

The US and Canada are the appropriate markets for the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650's launch since it was designed with a preference for long rides on broad, well-maintained highways. The Celestial model is designed as a grand tourer and offers a variety of touring equipment, in contrast to the Astral and Interstellar variants, which are geared for single riders. For the Astral variation of the SM 650, available colors are Green, Black, and Blue. For dual-tone models, available colors include Interstellar Grey or Interstellar Green.

Price ranges for the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 vary from $6,999 to $7,499 (about Rs. 5.82 lakh to 6.24 lakh). In the next weeks, the cruiser is expected to reach US showrooms.
