World Cup game between India and Pakistan: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, is the site of the ICC (International Cricket Council) Men's Cricket World Cup. Cricket matches will be played in Ahmedabad on October 14, November 4, November 10, and the World Cup final will be held there on November 19.


Traffic detours would be in place for the match days between 11 am and 12 am, according to a notice from the Ahmedabad Police.


Road restrictions and alternate routes are mentioned in the alert. There will be no access from Janpath T to the main gate of Motera, or from Krupa Residency T to Motera T. A different way 


Krupa Residency through Sharan Status Char Rasta via Koteshwar Road via Apollo Circle via ONGC Char Rasta via Visat T via Janpath T via Powerhouse Char Rasta via Tapovan Circle to Prabodh Raval Circle.

During the days of the matches, the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) increased train frequency and added three hours to the metro service times in Ahmedabad. 


At the moment, Ahmedabad's metro train service runs every hour from 6:20 am to 10:00 night at a frequency of every 12 minutes. According to Gujarat Samachar's reporting of a GMRC news release.


GMRC said, "Metro trains shall be available from 6.20 am to 1 am due to scheduled World Cup cricket matches the Narendra Modi Stadium, Moter."


On match days, it was also specified that entrance gates will be open at Motera Stadium and Sabarmati stations till the final train left Motera Stadium at 1:00 am, with exit gates being open at all other metro stations until 10:00 pm, according to Gujarat Samachar.


Additionally, a paper ticket option has been added to let passengers skip the line-up at Motera Stadium station while buying return tickets. These tickets, which enable travel to any station after 10 p.m. on match days, may be purchased at any time throughout the day for 50 per head.
