Life Certificate: According to the Central Pension Accounting Office, a pensioner may submit his life certificate in lieu of appearing before the Pension Disbursing Agency (PDA).

Pensioners have a variety of choices from which to choose to submit their life certificates, including door-to-door banking, face authentication, and post offices. According to the Central Pension Accounting Office, a pensioner may submit his life certificate in lieu of appearing before the Pension Disbursing Agency (PDA). For this, a designated official's signature is required on the pensioner's life certificate. These pensioners are exempt from the need to be physically present, according to the Central Pension Accounting Office's (CPAO) plan brochure. The names of all such identified officials who are qualified to sign the life certificate have been made public.

It is claimed that physical attendance is not necessary if a pensioner submits a life certificate form that has been signed by the authorized official. A retiree who submits the Life Certificate in the necessary format and with the requisite signatures is excused from appearing in person, according to paragraph 14.3 of the Scheme Booklet published by CPAO.

What actions are required

You must first obtain the life certificate form intended for recipients of state or federal pensions from the pension website in order to submit the life certificate in this manner. After that, you must fill out this form completely, including your PPO number, and have the designated officer sign it.

A life certificate is what?

From October 1, pensioners who are 80 years of age or older may now submit their life certificate. Every year, a life certificate is provided so that the banks may confirm the pensioner's status as living or not. Beginning on November 1, 2023, older persons 60 to 80 years old will begin the procedure.
